Ashleigh Crowter is a sports reporter and presenter for BBC ‘Wales Today’, Wales’ flagship television news programme.  Ashleigh is an accomplished broadcaster and witty speaker and an ideal host for conferences and events.

Former Welsh international rugby union player Dafydd James earnt forty eight caps playing for Wales and three caps for the British and Irish Lions.

First representing Wales at the age of 13 David Roberts CBE is the greatest male Paralympian the UK has ever produced. David was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age eleven and was encouraged to participate in swimming activities as a form of physical therapy.  He currently holds a joint record for the most Paralympic titles ever won by a British athlete.

Already a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), Dave was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2009 New Year Honours.

Derek Brockway is Welsh born and bred and his interest in the weather began as a young boy growing up in Barry during the long, hot summer of 1976. When he left school Derek joined the Met Office, based mainly at Cardiff Weather Centre but with spells observing the weather at Cardiff Airport, Birmingham Airport and eight months in the Falkland Islands. Derek qualified as a forecaster in 1995 and was posted to Birmingham Weather Centre, broadcasting on several BBC Radio stations across the Midlands.

In December 1995 Derek moved to London and worked in the world of television preparing the ITV National Weather and Channel 4 weather. Derek has also broadcast on GMTV's 'The Sunday Programme'. Derek is the main weather presenter on BBC Wales television and radio.

Dr Paul Thomas is one of those rare speakers and academics who are placed not only at the cutting edge knowledge and company development but has spent many years managing companies in both private and public services. Dr Paul Thomas has also spent many months/years overseas consulting in India, China, Malaysia, Pakistan and parts of Europe, gaining significant experience in development and implementation of leadership within varying cultural environments.  Paul did several series with BBC Wales radio and television as ‘the Business Doctor’.

Graham Bell is a former five times Olympic skier, TV presenter, adventurer and journalist and is regarded as one of the finest downhill skiers the UK has ever produced.  Undoubtedly one of Britain's finest Olympians of all time Graham has presented the hit BBC programme 'Ski Sunday' for over a decade.

Television presenter, Iolo Williams, grew up in in Llanwddyn near Lake Vyrnwy. At the beginning of 1985, Iolo got a job with the RSPB and spent the next 14 years working for the organisation. During this time, he became a regular on the media - on TV, radio and in newspapers - making a name for himself as a leading expert on Welsh birdlife.

Iwan Thomas MBE is without a doubt, one of the greatest athletes that Britain has produced.  Born on 5th January 1974; His initial athletics breakthrough came at the "World Junior Championships" in 1992, as part of the British 4x400m relay team, in which they won 5th place. In 1993, Iwan attended West London Institute of Higher Education, studying Sports Science and Geography. Working extremely hard, Iwan managed to juggle his studies and training which paid off, in 1994 took part in the "Commonwealth Games" 400 metres, setting a Welsh Record where he reached the semi-finals, representing Wales.

Robert Winston, Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London, runs a research programme in the Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology, on improvements in transgenic technology in animal models, with a long-term aim of improving human transplantation. Professor Lord Winston has around 300 scientific publications in peer-review journals on reproduction and embryology. Robert Winston is also Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University, Chairman of the Royal College of Music and was voted “Peer of the Year” by his fellow Parliamentarians in June 2008.  He is a member of the Council of the University of Surrey.

There is no end to talents of the award-winning comedian Rod Woodward.  Starting as an audience warm up man for HTV Wales Rod Woodward has since gone on to perform with some of the biggest names on the circuit such as Patrick McGuinness and Russell Brand.
